News from Taxi 1

Taxi 1 has established itself in Ålesund. You will see us on the road with our branded taxis and smiling drivers. You can order us via the app or by calling 05501. A warm welcome.

Taxi 4 and Fredrikstad Taxi's cars and drivers join us – Taxi 1 is now in Østfold! We welcome new and existing customers in Moss, Fredrikstad, and Sarpsborg. TT-kort can be used in all our cars, and you order in the Taxi 1-appen (Snappy Taxi), at post@taxi1.no or at our 24-hour call center 05501.

Taxi 1 provides patient transport from 1.10.2025 and extends a warm welcome. Ordered transport is booked through Pasientreiser, and the trip is carried out by drivers with expertise in health travel.

Taxi 1 and Oslo Taxi have entered into an agreement so that customers can use Taxicard in Taxi 1's taxis throughout Norway. We are proud and humble to collaborate with Norway's oldest taxi operator.

Taxi 1 is establishing a stronger presence in Sotra, with more cars and better coverage for customers in the region.

Are you dissatisfied with your taxi ride? You have the right to complain. From 1.4.2025, all license holders are obliged to be affiliated with a taxi dispatch center, and the center is obliged to handle your complaint. Complain to the center the driver operates for – the form for Taxi 1 can be found on our website.

Everyone with a taxi license must be affiliated with a central from March 1, 2025, but the affiliation deadline itself was postponed by one month.

National maximum prices apply to hailing a taxi. Taxi 1 complies with regulations and offers fixed prices when you order in the app.

Taxi 1 rents out fully assembled electric Toyota bZ4X with TDS taximeter, central fee, credit handling fee, and insurance with unlimited mileage for kr 20 000,- per month excl. VAT. Glass and rescue are included; damages, tires, and service are additional. Requires own taxi license and credit approval. Does not apply to driving in Oslo and surrounding areas.

License holders in Taxi 1 can get an offer for taxi insurance via the central, with free km, rescue and glass damage. The insurance is deducted monthly along with the central fee. Contact ledelse@taxi1.no or call 05501.

Taxi 1 offers accounting services for license holders through 1 + 1 – simpler everyday life with accounting, payroll, and reporting in place.

With the Taxi 1 app, you can easily order a taxi, see where the car is, receive order confirmation and receipt by email, and check the price before ordering. We offer fixed prices, and app customers regularly receive very good offers.

Taxi 1 has a collective agreement with LO and its own pay scale for drivers, and we are constantly looking for skilled drivers and license holders.

Through the collaboration with Vy, you can order a taxi from Taxi 1 directly in the Vy app.

Taxi 1 accepts the TT-card for Vestland county. The deductible is a fixed kr 30 and can be paid by card or Vipps. The driver can easily check the balance on the card.

You can pay with Vipps directly in all Taxi 1 cars – in addition to card and corporate agreement.

Taxi 1 has approval from the Norwegian Public Roads Administration to operate an alcohol interlock workshop (last updated 6.10.2023).

Taxi 1 has approval from the police to operate second-hand trade, so we can sell used cars professionally – including on FINN.

Pre-booked taxi from Flesland meets you at our designated meeting point in the arrival hall – safe and predictable.

Taxi 1 is the first taxi company in Norway with a charging facility that charges 50 taxis simultaneously, with self-produced solar power for operation and heating.
