The company is founded on July 7, 2004, in Bergen, with its own switchboard and a five-digit number. The first cars get the red, white, and blue profile that still characterizes us.

Taxi 1 was founded on July 7, 2004. Since then, we have built our own dispatch center, our own workshop, our own charging facility – and a car fleet that becomes greener every year.

Larger fleet – and buses
The fleet is growing with passenger cars, large vehicles, and coaches. Taxi 1 obtains coach and airport shuttle permits, and operates assignments for the state, county, businesses, and private individuals.

In-app booking with the car on the map, a fleet mainly comprised of electric vehicles, and taxis in nine counties: Vestland, Rogaland, Agder, Oslo, Innlandet, Viken, Trøndelag, Troms, and Finnmark.

Own power, own workshop, own people
50 own charging points at 22 kW, own solar power system, and own assembly workshop approved by the Norwegian Public Roads Administration for taximeters and alcohol interlocks. Administration with state-authorized accountant, occupational health service, AMU, safety service, and collective agreement.
